NJ-Steve is this the yellow one you refer to as owning, the one Don Johnson copied for the show?

Yup, that's my old old car. Bought it in B- condition for $24,000 in 1985, then did a minor restoration on the car, got it in a few magazines and sold it during my last year of college for $54,000 to Otis. At the time everyone thought I was nuts (when I bought it: for paying too much and when I sold it: for taking advantage of Otis by selling it for so much) Gotta love those 1980's prices.

Steve - reading your latest post I don't know whether to laugh, cry or try to laugh so I don't cry...

The silver car is most likely the Winchester grey export car. The white car is a 1971 Challenger clone. The only year a Hemi Challenger R/T convertible was produced was 1970. I believe the number built was 9. In 1971 there were no Challenger R/T convertibles made at all, only hardtops, so therefore no Hemi Challenger R/T convertibles were produced. -NJSteve

They had the white one labeled 71 but I was suspicious on that. I don't know the ins and outs of year distinctions on these by sight, yet.

The second blue one? VIN even... I bought the 12/04 Mopar Action and see the 2 million buyer (Bill Weimann) is reported to own one of the two blue ones. This one or the first one I posted with the poverty hub caps? Sight I found it on

Nevermind on the "which blue one question" I answered this myself. Mopar Action said they did an article on his blue one in 12/03, here it is.

And the white 2 mil French export that started this thread, since there is no pic of it.

While talking locally about the Cuda's, I found out about a Pink Panther 70 Challenger RT 440 Six Pack numbers match with shaker spoilers louvers and laser stripe 90% resto'ed. He decided he didn't like anymore and pushed it out of the garage in the field behind his house. HAHA He hasn't advertised it for sale, but I think he will. If anyone wants to get a hold of this guy, email me and I'll hook you up with him.
