Just in case anyone was interested but didn't follow the link...
We're still running the AC pump on Camaro, and when I did an A-B-A test between it and the Carter I noticed no change in performance. This particular L72 is in the 480hp range, and will easily see the sunny side of 6500 if you choose to do so, with a 3800 pound race weight... I don't know of the fuel pump, but I bet if you started a thread here you'd get your answer.
