It's nice, but still could be better, but not to expect that they will with todays day in age. You know they must appeal to the masses.

I saw a rendering somewhere of a possible design and it had stacked headlights like the 65-67s.. and it looked pretty neat

The '04 rocks that is for sure..! I do agree that the thing should not be called a GTO. Of course I am sorta HO HUM about all these litte cars. It needs to look more like the T-bird in size and stance with a more GTO stylized front end.

It could be too easy to mistake it for just another entry level commuter car. not different enough when you see it in a parking lot with other cars its size.

but then I kinda like the VW remake too. They did a great job on it. Same with the T-bird and 54 Chev truck.

The most recent edition of Hot Rod has 10 or so renderings of possible styling/concept treatments of the GTO. The best one of them in my opinion is a slicked up Judge tribute. Starts to make the car look tough again...

Seen that--They're getting there-"tough look" --If they're gonna use the GTO name they've got to give the car image also, or call it something else---
