Well Anders, I certainly can't confirm what possible vehicles got the high speedo, maybe somebody else can help you there.
Also, I'm not aware of any "69 SS-427 Chevelles" from the "factory". As you are probably aware, COPO's were Malibus and did not have any "SS" emblems on them. SS-427 dealer conversions were obviously available.

Don I´m aware of, like you said, that the 427 cars were not SS cars. Some of them, most likely, got SS emblems on them as a day two conversion.
Hans also remembers ad in which a Baldwin Motion -69 Chevelle was sold here in Sweden. He can´t find that ad right now. And of course we don´t know if it was a fake. We were thinking that mabye both ads were about the same car. So does any BM cars have 140 mph speedos ? ![]() Anders
