I was able to look at this HRSS454 at Arlington yesterday, and I was drooling over it the whole time.
Everything about it exceeded my expectations.
I give a Big to the Aloha Team,as well as Steve S. & HotRod for making this Vision become a reality.

Here's my synopsis of some of the comments...

I'm guessing most, if not all, of the negative comments are coming from people who have simply seen a few pictures on the net. Like most cars, you can't appreciate them until you actually SEE them. Like the subtleness of the Mule...then you see all the turbo plumbing! Sometimes you simply can't understand until you've seen them in person.

I had a red/black LS-6 coupe not too long ago, and it was wierd how certain angles and details reminded me of my '70...it was hard for me to grasp that an '04 could capture the nuances of the '70 until I saw the car in person, so I understand some of the comments. It really is a cool piece, even thought it lacks some finishing touches. But, if you don't believe me, just ask the mobs of people that were on this car like white on rice the entire duration of the PT...

Just one of the ultra-cool cars from the PT I'd gladly park in my garage. Like the Mule...or the Twister...or the Cammer Ford Clill pointed out...or Barry Grant's Chevy II...SHWING!

JoeG, There were many pics to be taken, but the rain was not working with me in chi-town. Watch for future episodes of "rides" for coverage. Roger

OK...yesterday was the last day of Power Tour and we stopped off at Imagine (formerly Aloha) and checked out Steves 57. I know you were bummed that it was not finished but I gotta tell you that 8 turbo contraption is gonna be a very cool car when it is done. I walk into the room and it is just sitting there running smooth as can be. Lots of very cool stuff done to the car....And it drives like a dream...
