Old man Cumby must have had his shot of Gerotol tonight.......watch out, you don't want the old dinosaur finding his way into the nearest tar pit...

Frankie,

The tar pit remark was fantastic! However, I feel it is necessary to clue you in, Cumby was born before tar was discovered! He created the maps the dinosaurs used to avoid said tar pits!

Annie,

That would be amazing to say the least, I hope to see you at both the shows.

"If the black car makes it to Monmouth/LeHarpe....you are on! But I get to ride along.....and I make one awful passenger!"

That's true Andy, she's a terrible passenger. When the speedometer passes the century mark in fourth gear she gets a little nervous. If that happens, just hit the window button for her side and she'll fly out the window. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Don't worry about her though; she'll probably pull out the mini-broomstick she carries with her and land safely somewhere! She always turns up again somehow.

Hmmmmm, cartographer for dinosaurs huh? This one won't pass without notice! Stay tuned........

All kidding aside Andy, she's a pretty Cool Lady with some SERIOUS cars and a tremendous amount of knowledge. Dennis Hartweg shared everything he knew/learned with Annie and she's now doing her best to keep that alive. Sit in the car? Not a problem. Just walk up and introduce yourself. You'll see why we all love her. A bunch of us give each other Crap pretty regurlarly here but it's ALL in fun. We hammer on each other because of who we are. Let someone else say something hurtful about ANY of us and they've started a war they don't even want to think about. Even Lil' Frankie is under our protection, although I won't admit it in public. Don't want him to get an even Bigger Head than he already has!!!
Overall, this site has some of the greatest and most knowledgable people in the hobby. The Clary family and a couple of others who prefer to remain somewhat anonymous are responsible for bringing all these folks together. Get to know as many of them as possible. You won't regret it, I promise.

I'll second that even if Cumby is an "old fart".

I am also a member over at chevelles.com. They have the same "family" type atmosphere there and they protect all of their own as well. I am glad I ran onto this site here as well because like you said it is the same way. Its nice to meet such a great batch of people that have all come together with one common bond from all walks of life.
