1968 is a great year for a Cutlass and your car has tremendous potential. Most guys wish that their projects started out as clean as yours. Look forward in seeing future restoration pictures.

Yeah I'm still in the mode where I just sit and stare at it and dream of what it should look like... I've got alot of Ideas but I'm going to do this one right. Only thing I know for a fact right now is I want to retain the vinyl top and all the original trim but going to put 68 442 grill and emblems on it and maybe get a the cutout rear bumper since the bumper has a small dent anyway.. Drivetrain will be the '65 425 that I already have and a 4spd. Originally it has the 2spd powerglide still in it. And it's got a factory 12 bolt rear.. ratio unknown right now.. But I'll likely go with a 4.10. This is going to be the FUN car. .. oh yeah and it needs a complete interior kit.. Going to keep the bench seat too

Ed, Motion did a '68 442 with mag wheels and 67 Corvette side pipes. It was a dark color maybe black with white cowl stripe down the fender and mag wheels. looked cool

I'd build it to W-31 specs. That was the REAL performer for the Olds lineup in '68...

Ed my fathers neighbor across the street Mark Turner bought this car brand new in 1968. My father took the pic circa 1968. The car was Yellow with a black stripe and interior. It will make a great project!
