From looking at them, I'd say they're pretty damn old. Judging by how much they've peeled, and pitted already, I'd say that they're at least 20 years old. Either that, or someone was really rough on them.
I'd prefer to do this the cheapest way possible, but still have it turn out nice. I don't have a lot of money, so I don't want to spend a fortune to repair a wheel that I could just buy new.

I know Cragar Makes a Good Authentic SS rim today that resembles the orignal very closely.Without seeing your damaged one,It may make more sense to buy their current product.
