Default Re: car hauler

Good friend of mine uses Dodge Duallys with Diesel's to pull his work trailers. He has used them for years with great success. He installs commerical gutters. He just got one of the new 4 door models and just loves it. Says he gets 16 to 20 mpg depending on load and headwinds. No major motor problems with them.

He has a 2001 extended cab with only 60,000 on it for $25,000.
Not sure if that is a good price or not?

I have a 32' Chapparal and a Chev 1 ton 4 dr Dually with it converted to run on Propane. I once went from Tulsa to Minneapolis on what I had on board. Had to stop 21 mile's out side of town for gas.

I guess I will be in the market for a new rig this fall. I can't quite get two cars in mine now and my truck is getting old just like me.
