Hands down beautiful master piece.I've had two in my lifetime and question myself for selling.Nothing like cruising or ripping it up a little in one of those cars.Searching for magical number three.Great car.

Where can I get some of those paper "On the Move" floor covers? These add great detail to a gorgeous car. Beautiful color combo.

Great car Rick!!!! Never knew it was an ex Miller car. You just know it had to be sweet if it caught Randy's eye. If'n ya make it to the PSMCDR as hoped, make sure you look me up, and I'll see if I can find you a Canadian beer at the end of the day!

HELLO LES KITTRELL HERE I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU A QUESTION ABOUT A 1970 SS. IF THE CAR TRIM TAG ANS BUILD SHEET SAYS THE CAR SHOULD BE BE A RED ON RED CAR IS THERE ANY REASON WHY IT WOULD HAVE A BLACK DASH AND CENTER CONSOUL ?
THANKS LES |

If the car came equipped with an optional center console, then that would be painted the interior color like Red,not Black.Only Ivory & Black interior Super Sports received black consoles originally.
The top soft dash pad should be red too.The dash front face around the gauges was always black,as was the steering column too, regardless of what interior color was chosen on a Super Sport. Note the 4 smaller circles around the center speedometer should NOT be highlighted in silver,as the ones are shown in my pic. That pic was taken fresh out of resto in 1994 and they were changed soon afterwards. |

Hey Rick, where'd you get the black circles around your speedo to make your car correct? Musta been available back in the early 90s. Most '70 Chevelles (particularly on evilbay) come standard with highlighted silver nowadays.

I have the standard black belts with a saddle interior and my console was black. Thanks, Al

I've seen Rick's car at cruise nights several times over the years. Great color combo, beautiful restoration, and the car has a perfect stance.
Great job, and truly an iconic American Musclecar. ![]() |
