All you would have to do is open or close one of the doors and you would be a beleiver about the mileage. The bushings are a big giveaway as was the nylon detent on the drivers door lower hinge. Still looks new.
The hole is in front of the air vent inside the car so they would not have droped anything in there with out being able to take it out easyly. They would have had to do it with the fender off too. ??? The wheel openings are just rusted off and the wheel house is still in good shape. They may have cut them to run bigger tires on the back and then didn't treat them to stop it from rusting. I want to try to keep it as original as I can so I will try to find a donor car for the parts that I need. I will use a heavy rust preventer afterwards. The back could be fixed but I may go ahead and change the tail panel to make it stop the rust in that area. This is next winters project, after I get the Motion vettes back on the road. So I have all summer to locate parts for it.
