Keep the original CA plates and dealer frames on them too. My opinion is leave them pretty much as-is. Yes, clean them up (owl dung is not really a "patina" item) and then preserve them as time capsules.
Those K-H mags are so cool on that '63---leave them on the car! Just put on a new set of belted pinstripe whitewalls. Oh, and the "327" on the green 63's plates is very cool. "FLV 327" almost sounds like "FueLie Vette 327." What a score. I can almost hear Jan and Dean coming from the radio in the red '63. |
