How many 1970 RA III Formulas were made?

I saw one for sale that looked like it needed a LOT of work. The asking price is $6550. Don't know how original the car is. Heres a pic.

I think they made enough where I wouldn't spend $6,500.00 for that one. I'd hold out for a better deal.

I think it was 293 autos and 15 3-speeds? Don't know 4-speeds.
