A really valueable car would be a Nickey/Motion ZL1 Phase IV with the * conversion.....
![]() No seriously I think that it is interesting that the only true 1 owner BM car that I have heard of owned by Board member JoeG was a phase III but in a 396 not a 427. It also makes you wonder like Belair said that the joke is that they are all phase III 427's. You would think that with the cost advantage of the phase III 396 more people would have went for it. hmmmmmm.......

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah Frank(Mr.Deuce) --you would have thought the Phase III 396 wold have been more popular, since it did have a full factory warranty. There is a 1968 article about this very subject, where Motion set up a Phase 396/375 in a 68 Camaro with the PhaseIII goodies. When I get my scanner up and running I will post it.If Motion had offered at least a 12 month warranty on the 427 drivetrain on a conversion I would have gone for it,but just couldn't swallow the 90 days.--No regrets though--JoeG ![]() |
