That is all well and good, but why is it that the 'elected officials' themselves don't ever want to shoulder their share of the responsibility either? There is a good reason whey politicians are among the three most distrusted of occupations. 'Dipping the noodle' is but the tip of the iceberg with several politicians - whether they be Dem/Rep, that doesn't instantly make them communists. The multi party system provides the balance to prevent our capitalism from sliding into socialism.

I agree with you that the local community leader takes more heat than the pres, just ask some mayors that are on here
