Sounds like a great buy. The key would be having paperwork to back up the car. While it is unikely to bring the $$'s of a Baldwin Motion Phase 3, it is certainly VERY valuable with the right documentation.

What paperwork would be needed just a receipt of some sort ?
any other type of documents that should be asked for ?

Ask for the original conversion recepts and the copy of the work order. You may also want to see if the engine pad has been stamped by others than GM. You will also want to pay Joel his fee as his records for 1971 are more complete than the very early ones.
