WHY NOT JUST PUT SOME HORSEPOWER IN YOUR CAMARO, IT'S A SWEET LOOKING RIDE. SMALL BLOCK CHEVY PARTS ARE RELATIVELY CHEAP AND EASY TO INSTALL. IF YOU ARE ON A BUDGET, BUYING AN OLD CAR THAT NEEDS RESTORATION DOES NOT MAKE MUCH SENSE WHEN YOU ALREADY HAVE SUCH A NICE CAR TO BUILD ON. THROW A COUPLE THOUSAND DOLLARS INTO A 350 AND YOU WILL HAVE A STRONG, GOOD-LOOKING CAR.

You've already got the cosmetic part done. Adding more power is the relatively simple part. (Although I'd hesitate dropping one dime into the 305.)
