That sign I believe is gone, I live right near there and tried to get it when Motion moved out. There is a custom wheel/accessory place and a tranny shop there now. You don't think Joel would just leave that sign laying around do you...

I couldn't open your link, but my recollection is of a sign (not like the one at the beginning of this thread) that was about 12' long, 2' high, and about a foot thick, yellow letters on a blue(?) background, internally lighted, which simply said "MOTION".
I can't believe someone on this site can't come up with a photo of that sign. ?????? Verne. |

Is this the version of the Motion shop sign you're talking about?

My recollection of the (a) sign is the following; 2'x12' internally light Yellow background with "Motion" in Black letters,it also had a black, curved arrow at the end of "Motion" that showed the shop was right around the corner of the bldg. This is the sign that was mounted on the top of the west side wall facing west. I remember it distinctly. SULLY

427,
That is definitely a different sign than the one we've been looking at, but the sign I was referring to is exactly the one JR referred to. About a foot thick (not a "placard" type sign on the front of the building) and internally lit. I guess no one ever photographed that one. Verne. |
