WOW - Never seen anything like that Black RS Z/28. It does look nice. Would love to see it in person. Has anyone seen it? I think he lives in the Detroit area.

I own the black car and pictures don't do it justice. The car is unbelievible its so fresh. The mileage is 1821 miles and never been tampered with. This car will never need to be restored. The original part numbers are stamped into the exhaust tail pipes and they look great too. I don't ever plan on driving it. As for the 1700? white Z28 I remember when that car first surfaced and I'm sure it was without the original motor and just over 2000 miles on a very bad rolled over body. What does his ad say now? Humm!

Maxx...His ad sure does not mention those facts. If a person were to beleive his ad, you would think it just rolled off the line. Don't seem right to me not to say what it really is.

Tony,
I'm not sure what his ad says but he's burned alot of bridges in the old camaro world as in person to person business such as vendors and show car guys and he needs more time to achieve that staus to the internet camaro world. Lets just say he was standing right there right afterwards of me buying my 1821 mile car and securing it with a deposit. I remember he was miffed cuz this black Z had lower mileage than his roll over. Him and Phil his current partner checked the car over real good and walked away in silence cuz they couldn't find anything wrong with the car. He didn't want to believe my car was real and he was bashing me and my car to anyone who would listen including strangers he didn't even know on the telephone. I know cuz these people call me to tell me what he has said. I let it in one ear and out the other cuz I know the truth about both cars and the mileage. Just last week he was caught bashing me again to a guy down south who called me and asked if I knew anything about a 1700 mile car up in Canada being sold by English. There are other camaro club members up in Ontario within the ICC of Canada that know that car. At one point in time he had a entire NOS Crossram set aside for it but had to sell it. The motor was the first thing he did on the project about 8 years ago. If you had the right motor already on a roll over wouldn't you do it almost last as if it needed to be done at all? Should be easy enough to track the paper work. There can't be to many guys up in that part of Canada doing re-stamped motors. And I'm sure hes burned that bridge by now so the information should be offered up pretty easy to anyone asking. |
