I was under the thought that Reynolds and Winters produced these? Winter's is the obvious one! but, where did Reynolds get into this?? On the Can-Am Chaparral & McLaren cars, and maybe GM team cars, where were those blocks produced?

The two Can Am blocks (sleeved 356 alloy and unsleeved 390 alloy..Reynolds) are listed in the 1972 Chevrolet Green Book (high perf manual), along with the 052 ZL-1.
Reynolds was a sponsor of McLaren, but as to where the 390 alloy blocks were actually made, would love to know. ![]() |

Yenko obviously bought the tools. But who actually produced the Yenko-blocks, I don´t know.

So can anyone shed any light on that Yenko ZL1 paperwork ? Is this a made up car or what ? Cool if it is real...

"Don Yenko Chevrolet on 573 West Price Street in Cannonsburg PA?" Nah, thats not a homemade window sticker.
![]() ![]() ![]() btw, the dealership was on West PIKE street, and the correct speelling is Canonsburg, not Cannonsburg...oh and the dealership was called Yenko Chevrolet, not Don Yenko Chevrolet.
