I had them do my exhaust manifolds, and they were supposed to duplicate the cast iron grey. They look to "painted" to me, but maybe they will get darker once they are installed.

I had a set of exhaust manifolds done by them also and at first they looked great, but after a year they started to rust! I sent them back for warranty. They did redo them for free and all it cost was shipping. If I were to have another set of exhaust manifolds done by them I would make them very slick as to remove any pores on them to take a better caoting. But of course you guys with an original car and wanting an original look would not want to do this. There coatings do look good but are not exact.I since use the por15 product and it works really great.I found that if you heat up the piece you are coating first then coat it and after it dries to touch then put it in an oven and heat it up to 400 degrees for a few minutes it works a lot better and last a lot longer. Also por15 has a great engine paint kit that works extremely well and last much longer than paint. My engine is 2 years old and has about 5000 miles and still looks new.I found that regular paint tends to dull after about year and a few hundred miles.
