It's always a laugh reading ebay feedbacks of people with minus (-) numbers.

Just a quick heads-up on this car...
After several failed attempts on Ebay, the owner is now shopping this car around as a "matching numbers" COPO Chevelle, complete with original KQ rear, and possibly a new trim tag...according to those looking at the car last year, it was a 396 car with a KK rear with a '70 454 in it and an 11D build date. There's a LOT more to this story than I care to get into, but if you're bored, here's some more info: Team Chevelle thread 1 - Team Chevelle Thread 2 |

Changing the trim tag to a more "attractive" date will do nothing for the VIN range of the car since there is a range on dates there as well...BKH

It's a great read and I suggest that anyone who wants a great laugh... should read it. ![]()

Our 396 Chevelle at B345383 is about 19,000 after this car but was shipped February 7. Sounds like someone stamped the block without understanding the relationship of production numbers to dates. Buyer beware.

This car is listed on Ebay again. This time he says: "So this car is an original COPO 427 Chevelle, and in fact it's one of the earliest ones made."

A real bunch of horse sh#*.Can not accept the truth that the car is not a COPO and is trying to "come" up with documention. Even going as far as making up stories about vin numbers being available. A bad liar at best.
