How about that 55 chevy All that I can see is that the numbers matching, all original stuff is taking a BIG back seat this year. I think I am going to put a blower on my 69 Z/28 and french in the door handles and cowl vent, and take 4 inches off the top and see if I can get 125,000 for it. You mean a perfect 1957 injected nomad isn't worth more than that 55 nomad street rod? Come on! Seems like that green COPO was a steal. I am confused Ok Marlin, Looks like day 2 and now day 3 is in. Man, I'm really confused now! All of the sudden eveybody wants a "resto mod". It appears that a well engineered and built car is finding a new audience. Charley, you ought to be in really good shape with those Stielow cars you have. You should have put the ZL1 clone in the auction, you would have gotten $200K for it.

Yeah my tastes are changing these days. I like the old body, but want todays mechanics. The original cars will always have a place, but driving them sucks. BJ is showing us that today people want both the old body but new goodies.
