Danny, On page 21 of MacNeish's book is the sister to mine and your cars. They did use I for 1....maybe so it is easier to read?

These 3 cars are awful close. V=plant I1=month 19=day DZ=engine suffix (V1I19DZ) My car is 11(D) of 68. sam
