NMW tow tabs from NMW were originally silver (mid to late '60's and very early '70's, then yellow for a very short time(lakewood balked/customers & speed shops got confused) and finally in the early through mid '70's were painted the burnt orange color. Not just the tb brackets but the complete NMW line including the traction bars went through this color change over the years.
Of course like pxtx said any color would be correct. White was another very popular color because many people painted their undercarriages white back then. Dave |

I am glad you guys refreshed my memory. I guess I painted them black and really forgot what color they were. I do remember total white undercarriages though. Jenkins ALWAYS painted his gas tanks white to reflect heat. sam

Whitetop, thanks for the history lesson
. Sounds like I'll go with silver . Would I be correct to assume that NMW is no longer in business ?Kent |
