[img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif[/img] Chuck, The SS option included the "Special Domed Hood" but the "Cowl Induction" option featured the vacuum actuated flapper and air cleaner that sealed to the bottom of the hood. These features applied to the L-78 cars as well as the earlier LS-6 cars. Non Cowl Induction L-78s and early LS-6s received the open element air cleaner. The later Non CI LS-6s received the dual snorkle. Mr. Nelson or Mr. Peters can fill you in on the dates all these changes took place, as well as Greg Carlson; all much more knowledgable than I!
