Me either. From what I understand, his cars are often rough around the edges.
Celebrity ownership of cars shouldn't logically help the value too much if it's a top end car. Do Jay Leno, Tim Allen, Charlie Sheen and Nicolas Cage get premiums for their cars? ![]()

Reggie uses the term "Toilet paper". As for the overall value of the celeb cars- people do generally pay more. The final price of the Don Johnson Hemi Cuda clone (318) is an example, However the car has got to be good. Don had a truck that came across the block soon after that did not bring much at all. It had Alain Ducadnet wheezing! Real Smoker......
![]() Ok Guys step up... Who is going to be there? It Is a hell of a trip and lots of fun, Perhaps you can ask Reggie yourself.... ![]() Phil |

I don't necessarily disagree, but wasn't what drove the price of the Cuda clone the fact that it had been used in the Nash Bridges TV show? Same thing with the fake GT500 Eleanor from the remake of Gone in 60 Seconds?

Perhaps.... That car was one of several of the cars used in the TV show.
On the bidding -Pure Cleb power on that car. The bidding slowed considerably until Don started talking about all of the fun he had had in the car- something about "if those seats could talk", and then later "My A** has been on those seats!" the crowd went wild - and so did the bidding-up by another 50K at the end. ![]() |

Do Jay Leno, Tim Allen, Charlie Sheen and Nicolas Cage get premiums for their cars? [/ QUOTE ]Actually, in a word, yes. A '69 Chevelle SS 396 sold at auction locally, formerly owned by Nicolas Cage, with the paperwork to back it up. It was an original Fathom Green car painted black, with black limo tint windows...seems to be a Nick Cage signature as I've seen his '65 Corvette Coupe with the same treatment. The car did close to 30 grand and wasn't at all anything particularly exciting to look it. Chromed out underhood, aftermarket wheels, radials, trim shop guts, your typical "street machine" Chevelle with NOM. I'd say $10,000 or more was spent on Nick Cage's name. Doesn't make particular sense to me either, but then again there's people who look at screen actors like we look at Don Yenko. ![]() |

First let me say Hello. I am new here so I will try not to step on any toes. Not everyone who buys a car from the group you named pays a premium. I purchased a Z28 from Charlie Sheen and got a great deal. What made the deal for me is that Charlie L. had bid on the car. That held more weight than Charlie Sheen. I kept that paperwork for proof. Maybe if I sell the car it will be sold at a premium because of both Charlies?

[/ QUOTE ] How do you know Charlie L. was not just buying it for a parts car Got to be careful for the "Two Chuck Duck" ![]() Just Kidden, Sounds like you got a pretty nice car, I would feel a little more confident if I knew Charlie was also a bidder. The Charlie with all the awesome cars not the Charlie who dates all those porn stars..Man if those seats could talk, huh ![]() Sam
