Stellar looking car! Just to clarify & keep my info in order..this is the same red/silver one that was offered through Kruse 9/03 right? (See attached pic). Here was the Kruse info posted:
Auburn, IN Aug 27 - Sep 2, 2003 According to Baldwin Motion Performance, only twelve 1969 Corvettes were modified with Phase III performance parts. Only four are known to survive today. This car was originally shipped from Baldwin Chevrolet/Motion Performance in Baldwin New York to Emerich Chevrolet in Pennsylvania. A sworn Affidavit of Authenticity accompanies the sale of this car with a VIN of 194379S725819. The car is now Red with a Silver striping. It was originally Daytona Yellow with a Black stripe. Otherwise, the car is totally original with 45,600 verified miles. The ultimate muscle car is sharp looking with all of the Phase III modifications and parts. The original 427ci V8 rated at 435 HP and 460 Foot-pounds of torque was modified by Baldwin Motion to produce 640 HP with an Edelbrock intake manifold and an 850 Holley carburetor. This is a very rare and unique Corvette that will fly down the road; truly a valuable piece of American automobile history. * ENGINE - V-8 427 * TRANS TYPE - MANUAL * EXT COLOR - RED * INT COLOR - BLACK Just trying to keep my info straight.

This was the red/silver car that was on the auction block at auburn as well as on ebay. The car was pulled from the ebay auction pending documentation from Mr Joel Rosen. Once
we started to really research and find out about what car this was under that red paint we set out to find out as much information as possible. Together with the owners we decided the car needed to be restored to the motion gold. The affadavit of authenticity from the second owner even states the car was gold when he bought it with 1500 miles. Amazingly enough the car has only changed hands four times and has been in the same family since 1971. |

I just got some new magazines in and on the cover of this Speed and Supercar from 1970 is a Vette that looks an awful lot like the car in those photos. Could it be the same car?
