Very cool pic, the obvious Blue Bobcat and what appears to be a Colonial Judge:

This appears to be Milt and Dave mixing it up:

This is obviously a winter shot, I would say early 69 or late 68. Notice the WY engine decal still on the motor of the Blue Bobcat, first time I've seen one of those on a 69. And the huge Doug headers, caption reads they are 2". So big one even has to go through the fender well. Milt driving and probably Dave doing the tire pressure.

This is my favorite Royal car. At the time this was taken in eary 1969, all the Royal Racing had apparently been moved over to George Delorean.

I've always believed in defensive reading. I'm usually quite surprised if I cannot find something more after a careful lookover...
[image]https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/download.php?Number=62878[/image] If you look at this pic, they refer to the car as a 63 Catalina - it's a 66 GTO. I've seen this same picture also used in some 67 articles. [image]https://www.yenko.net/attachments/63897-68RoyalGoatest2.jpg[/image] Check out the dropped exhaust on the RA II car, yet it looks like the other car's pipes aren't hanging down. Were they playing favorites? |

67 GTO
I am dead guilty of not double checking articles for many years. I was always in a hurry and took it at face value, I have no learned my lesson. That was not a good practice. |
