Jeepers !! Could the guy come up with any MORE impossible VIN numbers for the car ?? All we need is a good Hemi B-body VIN thrown in for the fun of it .... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]
It IS a '72. And you can tell if it is a W-30 in '72 by the VIN - - just not THOSE VIN's ..... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bs.gif[/img] Prior years you cannot tell engine by VIN. However, ALL "W" cars were built in Lansing - an "M" for the 7th digit. Cutout bumper is a good sign. |

I wouldn't trust this guy. Maybe if he had the numbers on the engine, and a window sticker, and a build sheet to back all of this up, I'd believe him then. Way to get my hopes up! What a ba$tard!
