While we're on the subject of the racing portion of the Reunion, I'd like everyone's thoughts on either/both of these options:
* The first option is to do the racing like SCR6, and rent the track for all day Friday. This allows for LOTS of track time (6+ hours), but costs more. * The second option would be similar to SCR5, with us going to the track Sunday morning for a few hours (maybe 2-3 hours). This is the least expensive option, but limits track time. We are hoping to go to Gateway Intl. regardless of which option we go with. |

I say keep it like SCR6, just don't order the rain next time.

I was also at Wentzville at SR5, that was more relaxed, after the big show. I vote for Sunday morning, seeing we will be on holy ground.

If yenko is the marque of honor this year, you GOTTA get Donna Mae back again.

As we have done every year, there will be special guests. I have a list of about 8 folks I am working with for SCR7, and most have never been to a SCR. One who has, and is scheduled to attend in '04 is Donna Mae Mims, the former Manager of Hi-Performance Sales
for Yenko Chevrolet, Canonsburg. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ ![]() By the way Brandon, I was hoping the Latrobe gang could bring Ed H. along this year. I think it would be neat to put him in a Yellow Yenko Camaro (similar to the one he drove for Yenko Chevrolet back in '69) along side Herb in Lil Hoss. Count me in, Rob.
BTW...we could probably fit another 5 cars in the space that JoeyB's memorabilia takes up. |

5 cars worth? C'mon now... you coulda fit AT LEAST 6 cars in that space... just for that, I'm bringing enough stuff to fill the space of 10 cars this year!

We can work on Ed Hedrick... hes a super cool guy, and I think he'd be not only willing, but eager to attend. He talked my ear off for hours at the York US30 Reunion this summer about his times with Grumpy Jenkins, and racing his Yenko... he's truly got a photographic memory of the "good ol days." A true Yenko racing legend, and an all around great guy. Heck, I MAY even introduce you to him LVCamaro...IF you behave yourself!
