I flipped thru one of my 70-71 engine books and it does say the LS-7 had aluminum/semi-hemi heads and a low-riser aluminum manifold.The title of the article is " The L/88 that can be lived with in the street".---JoeG Came across the LS-7 head part # 3946072 ---1969 design
