'57 150 car

Dennis...Growing up as a youngster, I recall a local racer who ran a 57 150 that looked like a Nomad wagen without the glass in the cargo area. It had a 283 motor with fuel injection and he always won Stock Eliminator for all the $$$. Finally, the track officals told him not to bring the car back because it wasn't "Stock".

I've got 2 questions:

Was it a Sedan Delivery or Handyman Wagon that I saw?

Was a FI motor available in either models?
