Default Re: Dick Harrell funny car @ Etown

WOW indeed.......about the only thing I could add to what Tom said is......thanks to everyone that helped us with the car.....everyone was great about giving two country boy's a hand with the techinal workings of a funny car......Dale Pulde, Bruce Larsen, Dave Libby, Dale's friend that builds car's which I forgot his name, and some others that stoped by and helped with various things taught me more in one day about the car than I could have learned in a year on my own.....All in all I thought it went very well....our driver didn't throw anything at me after the cars first run.....we didn't leave anything on the track, except some nervous sweat......and the car still starts and moves under its own power......Again thanks very much for the help and the kind words.....now all we need is a little time and some more of Tom's money and I think we can really make some smoke and noise....and talk about the pay off....when fans of Dick Harrell came up to us after the run and just wanted to thank us and shake our hand for having the car there...... what can you say.......
