One of the most famous 68 L79's around was none other than Bill Grumpy Jenkins'. The car came through with the 327-325hp. Put the big block in to run SS/D. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/

Thanks to all who have responded. I have received a couple of private messages as well and have one small lead which I will check out. If anybody else knows of a car, please keep me posted. Yes, I did know these cars were not done on SS bodies and that is part of their appeal to me. The downside is that it has made them very hard to identify without getting a much better look at the car. I'm sure many people might have one and not even realize what they own.
