Back then---if it couldn't be waxed --I didn't take a picture----
The engine was set-up as a PhaseIII---minus the 427---there was a picture of blue PhaseIII Camaro in a mag-MCR?- with Joel Rosen's picture in the upper corner---that is what the PhaseIII engine package looked like. 1969-PhaseIII L78 396/375 456/rear scooped fiberglass hood keyed hood locks--had to change to pins--safer! super-bite suspension[frt/rear shocks] three-barrel Holley carb with 427x Edelbrock int--manual choke fly-eye-air cleaner Mallory dual pt dist---modified by Motion burn proof ign wires/rajah clips Mallory CD ignition dual electric fuel pumps in trunk with shut-off at dash Hooker comp headers/thrush mufflers modified M-40 /sure-shift kit ladder bars/snapped bar---- Motion replaced with ET bars with steel bushings car raised all around/rear had air bags to pre-load chassis mags prowler rear tires sw/sun--amp,water,oil gauges-I added vac gauge hood tach---only electic tach that worked with the CD IGN.--didn't want a gear driven tach.--they tried to steal the hood tach when the car was parked----sun then came out with sun 802 --worked with CD ign.---still have the tach--pontiac tach with chevrolet name over it. PhaseIII -mirrors actually 1969CJ Mustang mirrors Grant wood steering wheel car was power tuned on dyno 1970--Motion installed Hone Overdrive/Hone-o-Drive put in 488 gears-----driving on the H'way---70mph aout 2500/3000rpm---12/14 mpg on hwy.-----JoeG-- [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif[/img]

That modern side-view and hood view are the ones that were sudmitted to Ertl. zgator, That rake or slight rake look ----was on a lot of the Motion cars--I was always partial to a slight rake especially on the early camaro's.----JoeG-- Denis, Thanks for cleaning that picture up --it's like looking thru a clean pair of glasses---I made myself a copy-- [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggthumpup.gif[/img]---
