Frank you should buy it!
You guys will laugh but the air cooled VWís can be made to run very fast with not allot of cash, I played with them in the 80ís when they were Hot, it really was not that hard to get into the 12ís with one, This particular car cant weigh much, a nice 2180 would push it well, Next time you are at the store pick up a Hot VWís mag and check them out, lots of bang for the buck.

Yup, you could build these things as sand toads or THUNDERBUG PhaseIII terrors---- really a very versatile vehicle--- they were fun at any speed. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/burnout.gif[/img]
