I have both,a correct early 69 and the 79.It WAS a option in 69,it did not have the second vavle on the rim like the 79 unit.I used to carry the 79 when I ran a larger tire,face down it's hard to tell the diff.The 69 tire is a little narrower as well........I have a early Mopar rim with the correct tire.I'll check the date code to be sure..I'll let you know.

Firebird rim probably.It was an option on the Camaro starting in 68.It may have even been std. in the Firebird line......I'm not 100% on Pontiacs.It does open up the trunk for other things....... [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beers.gif[/img]
