Kevin,
When I was looking at the car, Scotty Slay mentioned the car originally had white stripes that Dcik Harrell added, but he was not sure of the exact configuration. Do you have any further information about this? BTW, love the colr combination. Nice car! |

The only stock I have in Cragar are some good used rims in the basement waiting to be rechromed at Stockton. Spares for future projects.
A guy I went to HS with bought a '69 Z, burnished brown with white stripes back in '79. Looked at the odometer 2 summers ago and it was at 8900 miles. Yep it has Cragars on it. No girlie man 14x6's either(like Ratpack sorry if I offend someone but not my preference) but 15x4's and 15x8 deep dish in the rear with honest to goodness L-60-15 bias ply Kelly Springfield Super Chargers. I've been meanin to get pics of the car. Typical '70's piece-lakewood bars, Sun gauges, Mr. G vertical gate, torker intake etc. Never was a big fan of dark brown until I saw that car with Cragars in the sunlight and white painted headers sticking out underneath. Have been a Cragar nut ever since. |
