Default Re: COPO On E-Bay

TRUST? What about the $50,000 -$85,000 worth of trust that the guy/guys had who were placing the bids (if they were legit bidders) on this car ?!? I am assuming that they were placing those high bids based upon the information (false info) that was given in the description. Now, I DEFIANTLY agree that placing a bid on an item without the intention of paying for it is obviously wrong. Or even just plain flaking out and changing your mind. But it is JUST as wrong to sell an item giving knownly false information. I do have to say that if I was the serious high bidder on this car and got out bid by someone who was playing games, I would sure as hell be glad it happened once I found out that the car is not a COPO, but just a nicely restored plain jane car.
