Here you go, Kurt: http://www.davessmallbodyheis.com/

I wish he had some pictures of his work on his site...it's pretty slick. He can convert your points to MSD or HEI.

My old school trick was to put Accell points and cap and have it recurved in the stock dist, then use a Accell coil, worked fine, but had to stay up with the points as they broke in and adjust dwell, I had seen the other stuff advertised and thought I would ask your opinion on the Subject, I have decided to put the Numbers match Motor under the bench and finish the alum head motor for some fun this summer,I was shooting to get things under the hood looking correct.
Thnx for the input guys, Bud.

I had him do one for me with HEI. If anyone wants a pic email me. I still haven't put it in yet.

http://community.webshots.com/album/66411434vZZvus I put some pics here. The distributor was a spare single point out of a '69 that my friend had. I'm hoping for 15MPG with the HEI and the tripower.

Great pics there Chris!

I went ahead and got a couple more pictures of different applications from Dave, just for those interested.

Default Tach drive (Corvette) small body HEI

This first picture is of a full HEI setup in a tach drive (Corvette)) distributor. Due to the tach drive assembly, the module is remote mounted...but, if you remove the module, then you are left with an MSD trigger conversion for those fans of the "red boxes".

Default Small body HEI w/module

This second picture is of a small body Chevrolet distributor converted to HEI, with the module mounted on the bottom of the distributor housing.

Default Small body w/MSD hookup

And here is a stock small body distributor with the MSD magnetic trigger installed (shown with optional Crane adjustable vacuum advance)...just plug it into your favorite MSD box and go.
