Don,
Did the 50 COPO Nova's in '68 get the door frame moldings? Cool car, be nice to find that one!

I do not believe they had the chrome trim on the door or window. I do not think this is one of the COPO's. Maybe Kim can shed some light on the trim package on the COPO's.

I had been thinking that the dark portion at the top of the exhaust manifolds was where they had oversprayed orange paint on them. I don't think that they sprayed orange on that area with aluminum heads. It's possible that the heads are aluminum, and that the darkness on the manifolds is just rust. Even looking at the original print, I cant tell for sure.

The Gibb Nova's were plain jane no chrome on doors, windows or roof rail trim. The car is Jack Walker out of Belton Mo.
Also Harry Avery drove a 69 427 nova out the Harrell Camp this car is a 68 I think. There were 6 cars out of Harrells stable in that area. kim

I tend to agree, Ken. Of the seven '68 COPO's I've seen, none had the bright trim around the windows. I've heard of the Jack Walker car too but I don't know the whole story of it. Kim or Ray are probably the best to tell the background.
