Ok I confess! I have an extra trim tag.I took one off of a 69 SS Chevelle that was under water in a river during a canoe (sp?) trip.We had heard rumors about this Chevelle for years. So while camping we made it a quest to find the Chevelle, document the find, and part what was left.We were quite a site back at the livery with a boat load of Velle parts. So yes, in the Mohican river (late 80's),there WAS a 69 SS Chevelle.......minus my body tag trophy of coarse. What else are they good for?

Ok, I confess too, I took one off a junk yard car that I found in a wall of cars - 4th car up! It was a '70 Nova, SS, L78, a/t on the column, 731 interior, F41 car, forest green (I thought it was a Deuce till I saw the BB stuff!) Everything was gone except the rear sway bar plates and BB heater box. I pryed the trim tag off because it had an earlier body number than the Deuces, but a later build date. So, I thought it was an interesting piece.

I'm off the hook though, I laid it on the fender of a 240Z so I could climb out of the engine compartment, and it blew away So, I would collect one or two if they were related to my Yenko Deuce research!

They make great ice scrapers in the winter. Just hook'em on some vise grips and your good to go!

I must also confess. I pulled a trim tag off a brown '69 Camaro sitting in a junkyard in W.Va. The junkyard owner kept on saying something about it being a rare and special Camaro. I said "what you'd say? Didn't Chivey make something like a million gadjillion '69's that year?" I think he was trying to pull my leg. My 9th grade public school education got the better of him though.

p.s. Found out last year some city slicker came out of the big city and paid big money for that shell. I guess their born every minute.

I would think that after the big story of the Brown COPO that was found in a junkyard in W. Va, that turned out to be a fake, that every junk yard owner in W. Va who has a brown 69 Camaro thinks it must be a special car.
