Default Re: Saw ZL1 #30 today...

I was one of the five who picked up their car in LaHarpe IL
on New Years Eve Day - white one #63 400 hp 3.73 gear - trailered back to the dealership. I believe this is the only ZL1 2002 bought and sold in Illinois from a dealership, there are other Illinois owners but they were bought outside Illinois (I stand realdy to be corrected). I had to wait a few days until it was dry out before driving it home. It is awesome driving as the prototype was described. Very very smooth driving and handling - very fast. I have a 1973 Z-28 RS with a 502-2 fours-3500 stall-competition ladders & frame connectors - it runs very strong. The ZL1 seems to run just as strong - I can't wait to run them together and see what happens. The 427-600 hp, has to be even more awesome and I don't know how you are going to hookup. Matt Murphy and crew, I believe did an exceptional job on the car and I believe because he has put together many great ideas - these ZL1's will have a place in muslecar history. I am new to the "Yenko forum" but have been a gearhead for a long time. Thanks.
