Exactly. The big bucks was because of his ownership, not the car's worth. I for one would not pay extra for a car just because a sports star or hollywood personally once owned it. An x-race car with history is different.

Guys is Reggie the only one besides our few board members at BJ??? [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif[/img] I didn't realize that Reggie WAS the muscle car market. Any info on any other personalities there BESIDES REGGIE??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked through most of the cars today out in the field below the auction tent. The '67 Yenko Camaro has a no reserve sign on it. Future Classics has a White Chevelle L-78 that will be going across. Most of the LS-6 Chevelles that I saw were going through on Sunday. I do have some pictures that I will try to post tomorrow. I have a pic of the L-78 Chevelles build sheet. A nice unrestored Lemans Blue Z-28 went for $32 or so. I was surprised at the two GT-40s that went across and neither one broke $400K. If anyone is interested in the pics before I get them posted, send me an e-mail, and I will forward them on.
