What color is it? There was a Berger 427 COPO Chevelle drag tested on same day as Berger ZL1 in 1969 (ran mid 13s) but did not make it into the magazine. It was written up years later by Roger Huntington when the debate started about if there were any 427 Chevelles factory built.
The winter may be better season for outdoor car hunting. Less foliage, bees, hornets, etc. Just where boots |

All cars have the "By Berger" emblem. We have a 2001 fleet Chevy Van at work that came from Berger and has that emblem.

Joe:
I don't have my issue of the ZL-1 test handy...any specifics of the berger Chevelle test other than "mid 13s"? That was right around the time SS&DI ran a Yenko Chevelle to a 13.31@108 on the skinnies...not bad! |

Rob, The COPO Chevelle was drag tested same day as ZL1 but was not written up in the magazine. They never mention it in the ZL1 article. Roger H. wrote about it years later in another article. I don't remember exact time but it was mid 13s and not as quick as the SS mag test.
