I asked joel about scanning any/all photos he had. His answer at the time was "they're all boxed up and he doesn't know where the stuff was".
I can believe that since I've been to his house several times.
About a month ago, I was on the phone with the boss and he was rummaging through some boxes they found and he was reminiscing. "Holy cow mikie... pictures of my 58 vette. National record time slips...." I just sat their and listened to him. Hopefully he'll leave those boxes out in a handy spot so I can get my hands on them. I'm supposed to help him move some boxes in a month.
