Yes, I believe that's the same TODCO as they were out of Montreal. Fisher drove for them for awhile but who took over driving duties after Craig left, I don't know.

Jeff H,
Yes, I'm extrmemly familiar with the car you are inquiring about as I know the owner and have been working with him for years trying to figure out the past history of the car. So far, we have not had much luck. There does seem to be a connection to Jon Ward but he is extremely reluctant to talk about the car for reasons I would rather not get into on a public forum. -Jon 1967 Z28 street car 1967 Z28 Trans-Am race car 1967 Z28 Registry |

Thanks for the information Jon. I think Steve said he was going to buy the car with the hopes of being able to use it for vintage racing some day. Regardless of the history, it's a great car that is very unique and shows how they built cars for racing back then.

And on the shop, Todco working on many rares cars(64 Galaxie R Code/Shelby 68 ect..) I was often going to make turn at TODCO at that time. In my youth. I found a 67 Camaro road racer picture on my computer but don't remember where it was from but the picture looks like from the 60s.

That picture is from the Virginia International Raceway (VIR) website done by Nick England. The car was the one owned and driven by Tom Lynch. It is the sister car to the Dana Camaro driven by Dick Guldstrand. Both those cars (and two others) were built by Bob McDonald at Dana Chevrolet.

Here's a pic of the car although it is from a little later in the '69 season. It is Bob Grossman's car but he had co-drivers on several occasions.
