k92,
As per "Chevy by the Numbers", the Distributor is for a 1968 327 X 325hp. The 8c27 must be the date code 1968 March 27th.
The carb is for a 1968 high horse ( Z28, L78 or L72)engine. This carb could also be used on a 1969 Z28. The carb has been rereleased by holley, so it's best to check the date code on the air horn.
