Default Re: ZL-1 Coil Springs

Greg, the wife has me all to herself for the long weekend but I did manage to get a photo of the tag out to you so you have mail. The new Eaton springs arrived and I got one rear spring installed before I had to put the tools away for a few days. I will count the coils when I get them out but I am sure these are "HQ". I do not know about what paint was on them. I just cleaned them up and hit them with a black rattle can before I reinstalled them (Driver amature resto). When I took the car in for an alignment they said the front end was too high for the specs I wanted to run. That comment combined with the harsh ride/shackles I always had was enough to convince me to replace all 4 springs and the hand made shackles with quality replacements. I am expecting a stock ride height after I switch the springs. Let me know what you think of the picture. If anyone else wants to see it, click on "Attachment" for a smaller view.

-Mark.
